Engine Standby And A Tower Run
While members attend class at both LCPSTC and HACC, Engine 39-1 covered the quarters of Co. 67 (Rohrerstown), while their members conduct training of their own at HACC.
While at Co. 67, Eng. 39-1 was sent to Women’s & Babies hospital for an auto alarm. During response the assignment was upgraded to a building. Once on scene, the engine crew located a faulty detector with maintenance personnel. The assignment was then downgraded.
Later in the day, Tower 39 was sent to the Sheetz in Morgantown for the reported building fire. The crew accessed the roof and found no problems and returned a short time later.
